  • All negative Spell resist has been reworked in the mod and vanilla. It was causing a calculation error if a unit had below 0 spell resist and was attacked by an enemy with Arcane attack. Effects that previously reduced Spell Resist by a set amount (such as Shadowbolt) now reduces it by a percentage of current value instead

  • Fixed an issue where many Lizardmen unit designs paid no wages. If you edited these to make new unit designs they will also pay no wages - please delete those self-made unit designs
  • Fixed an issue where halfbreed units dying during a special flyback death animation could pause the game for 12 seconds

  • Removed 2 very old stamps with arctic environment, they weren't using the new terrains which was causing issues with tactical maps and textures. Added 4 new stamps with replaced terrain

  • Added support for Mod Manager's notifications when new versions of this mod are released. You can now use Mod Manager to notify you when new versions of Stormworld are available. This only works if you first download 1.5p or higher, it will not work retroactively.

  • Venusian Blades can no longer be bought in city shop after researching Magical Forging

Stormworld_ExpandedFactions:

  • Fixed an issue with Centaurs and Drota using two-handed spears, when they attacked enemies there would be no damage pop-up and other associated issues
  • Drota unit design ability Websling now calculates its chance as "((Drota Troopcount+3 - Target Level) * 20) percent to make the target lose their next turn unless they resist" (previously no +3). Also Oversized units are now immune to its effects.
  • Improved death animations for all halfbreed units
  • Added new effect to Drota bloodline: If faction controls 3 or more Air shards, unit gains +1 Moves in tactical combat
  • The Endless sovereign history no longer provides you with an extra customization point, as this had the effect of reducing the available points for other histories by 1 (game bug, don't ask).

  • Remade the structure behind forests in arctic and burning lands terrain so that they would show the right textures and tactical maps
  • Removed 4 stamps that had inappropriate starting positions
  • Several stamps had accidentally been given beaches, turned them into the appropriate cliffs

  • 6 new tactical maps for Burning Lands and Arctic forest terrains

  • Added new monstertype and their lairs: Landsharks, a Plains beast
  • Fixed an issue with loot drops from many of the new monstertypes. They were dropping an item 100% of the time. The intended droprate was 30%.
  • Gibbai now counts as Flying, also fixed issue with missing animation for prone(causing the model to freeze while knocked prone). Also changed name of "Known Issue" trait to "Nightmare Dimension"
  • Kami can no longer appear in Swamps, only Forests
  • Firebees now only appear in Plains terrain
  • Firebees and Darkwasps no longer have the trait "Cannot be knocked Prone"
  • Altered the colour of missiles shot by Faeries

  • Changed Angel ability New Faith. Now provides +0.5 Tactical Health Regeneration per shard (before +1). Now provides +1 Arcane attack per shard (+2 before). If faction controls 3 or more Life shards, New Faith now provides the unit with +1 Moves.
  • Fixed so Angel spell Transcendance costs intended 50 mana (previously 40)
  • Golem faction weakness Anti-magic now reduces mana income by 25%, previously 50%
  • Fixed issue that caused some horses to make unit count as Flying, that function was intended for Dragon mounts

Stormworld_ExpandedFactions_Champions:

  • Fixed Vasss' and Terrestris' size on Cloth map
  • Changed Eddir's recruitment cost to 118 Gildar from 214

Stormworld_Rivermod:

  • Added 15 new stamps featuring Arctic (death/poison rivers) and Burning Lands (Magma/Blood rivers) terrain. All units occupying tiles with these terrains gain +15% passive Fire attack for Burning Lands, and +15% passive Cold attack for Arctic.   • Fixed an issue that would cause all "halfbreed" units (centaurs, drota) to look distorted at the stomach for unit medallion and in cloth mode (seriously you cannot imagine how long this took to figure out - it's been in the mod since I introduced centaurs)
  • Clarified that Lizardmen faction ability Blood Worship produces no extra mana
  • Fixed bad animation for centaurs when using spells requiring multiple turns to cast (visible both on strategic and tactical)
  • New background for Death Legion sovereigns on sovereign selection screen

Stormworld_ExpandedFactions_Champions:

  • Fixed Demonshrill tooltip to mention that they count as Demon
  • Moved back Vini's Familiar so that it is above his shoulder

  • Stormworld_Quests now requires Stormworld_Reliquary and Stormworld_ExpandedFactions_Champions sub-mods. Previously it only required Stormworld_Reliquary and Stormworld_ExpandedFactions. This was a mistake from before. The Quests submod would never function without the Champions submod

  • All Stormworld recruitable monster improvements may now be upgraded after researching a certain higher-level tech. Once the improvement has been upgraded, the recruits will come in groups of 5 (instead of 3) and have improved equipment and extra levels.
  • Increased visual size of Demonhound in tactical battle
  • Demonshrill recruitables now unlock from Economics instead of Logistics, also nerfed to compensate. Reduced cost of Demonshrill Camp improvement from 50 to 40 Influence
  • Reduced the Gildar wages for recruited monsters from this mod by about 50% (from 2 gildar to 1 gildar per member) for the first level of recruits (tier 2 recruits that are new will still cost 2 gildar per member) (halfdrakes cost 2 gildar then 3 gildar per member)
  • Fixed so the quests in this mod actually appear in-game with some frequency

Stormworld_ExpandedFactions:

  • Added new unit designs to all factions (AI only) to better provide the AI with specific mid-game options when running expert/ridiculous difficulty
  • Fixed Golem unit design trait Self-repair so that the unit gains tactical health regeneration throughout the battle instead of just the first turn
  • Shadows' Bloodline effect that provides all shadows with +5 Moves on first two turns of battle now only functions on first turn in battle

Stormworld_ExpandedFactions_Champions:

  • Fix for Gorgon champions so that when they equip or trade items, the character doesn't "flat out" on the ground in the preview window
  • Cosinivatha's tactical health regeneration now lasts throughout the fight instead of for just the first turn

Stormworld_Reliquary:

  • Moved all events over to the now fixed event system, all events can now occur after turn 125 and have a slightly higher chance of occurring. Also all events now come as pop-ups instead of cutscenes covering the whole screen (not enough time to read the text in those)
  • Ability "Breathe Fire" gained by equipping the Collar of Firebreathing can no longer be fully resisted (with spell resist) by enemies (can still be "resisted" partially or fully if the target has Fire Resist)
  • Demonheart now provides a consistent +1 Tactical health regeneration for the duration of a battle, instead of only for first turn
  • Arrowguard now provides the wearer with +15 Ranged Dodge throughout the battle, instead of only for first two turns

Stormworld_Shared:

  • Added Shrink_Ability to mod list to make monsters shrinking frost giants look right
  • Stormworld now alters how growth/shrink spells work (Shrink, Shrink_Ability, Growth, Growth_Self, Giantform). Instead of providing an absolute attack boost ("+15 attack"), these spells only provide a multiplier (ex. "+50% Cutting attack") for the duration of battle. This will result in a much more even distribution from these spells, and fixes a bug where Shrink would devastate Juggernauts/Frost Giants and champions that specified in attacktype traits such as Swordsman. Shrink and Shrink_Ability now provides the target with +20 Dodge instead of +50% Dodge. Growth and GiantForm canont be cast on same target anymore. These spells no longer have weaker/stronger effects if the target is Hexed.
  • Fixed a background issue where Celestial unitstat was messed up, starting at 1 going to 2 (instead of 0 going to 1) (no known impact on game)

  • Added new monster and their lairs: Venusian Empire, an insectoid race of desert scavengers
  • Added new monster and their lair: Fiery Gorgons, spawns a recruitment world resource on capture. Requires Literacy to use

  • Faction Shadows' unit design ability Killing Shadow now costs 1 Crystal per unit member (previously 0)
  • Tweak to Drota backstory: The Stormlord was the first Drota to channel magic from the shards, not the "only one"
  • All Bloodline traits now count as "combat relevant" and shows up when hovering over unitcards in action queue during tactical battle
  • Removed some references to non-existant faction traits that caused a slight graphical distortion when viewing faction bonuses during custom sovereign creation
  • Fixed Shadow faction ability Otherworldly Sight so that it functions properly
  • Added more AI-only unit designs to Greenskin so they build other stuff than just Spear Gobbos

Now, the spell can be cast on any city under your control. Each world resource allows you to cast and maintain one spell from that type of river. Note that these spells require 1 Essence from the target city, just like other city enchantments
  • These rivers now help provide tile yield to tiles around them, used for the value you see when deciding where to settle a city. Magma river provides Material, River of Blood provides Grain and Corrupted River provides Essence. Poisoned River gives nothing.

Stormworld_ExpandedFactions:

  • Added faction Shadows. They are exceptionally quick in tactical battle and ranged units will be practically useless against them. They cannot train units with ranged weaponry. They get very cheap Shadowforged gear and have resistances to physical damage which makes them difficult to handle in melee. Their main weakness is their limited numbers which prevents the faction from swarming with armies - rather the faction will have to focus on fewer, stronger units. Their limited numbers also present a crucial choice between military and outpost expansions. The Shadows are distrusted and suffer a negative modifier to Growth in cities but can gain additional prestige through questing. Their limited numbers and their dependance on questing means heroes are key. The Shadows gain +1 Sight and can recruit both Empire and Kingdom champions.
  • Fixed so Undead traits are only available to Undead, instead of everybody
  • New graphics for the Crown of the Skeleton King
  • Fixed the skin for the Death Legion demonhound

  • Added the Undead faction. Play-wise they are heavily tilted towards late-game domination. For this purpose, they have two significant bonuses: Like Resoln, they can turn any shard into a Death Shard via the spell Corruption (and Resoln's spells to use those shards). The undead Sovereign can also cast the Dominion of Death spell on itself. For each level the Sovereign gains, all wages are reduced for the entire faction by 5% (this can even turn normal troops into Gildar-producers if the sovereign gains very high levels). These two bonuses should work together to ensure that if the Undead are left alone, they will become unstoppable. They also have several faction abilities that slow them down in the early game, such as lack of growth and mana cost for all skeletons.
  • Fixed an issue where Wraith archers would appear to defend cities from the ExpandedFactions. They will now be the correct race.

  • Added monster lair: Captured Monastery. A "reverse" monster lair, it starts out with strong defenders and strong loot, and degrades over time.
  • Tear of the No-god now deals damage according to target's spelltraits instead of its magical nature
  • New icons for Tear of the No-god and Ring of Invisibility from Aeron Astari
  • Moved Fleeing Statue, Bag of Wind and Sworn Dragon Egg to a better system so you can't accidentally dispel them. They now show up as traits for the user, rather than spellbuffs on the user. This also prevents mis-use in case you find two for the same character. Fleeing Statue and Bag of Wind traits are temporary, and the Dragonrider trait starts out as another trait (Dragonrider: Hatchling) for 150 turns, then it becomes simply "Dragonrider".

Added Stormworld_ExpandedFactions_NoVanillaSov - this module removes the default sovereigns from the game. That means that the vanilla factions in the game are unavailable, unless you have your own sovereigns designed for them. The first version has 7 new champions, 1 per faction currently included in the mod, and they are all the kind of champion that is available from the start.

Stormworld_Reliquary:
- Fixed so that only appropriate Reliquary items were available when creating sovs, instead of all of them.
- Some Reliquary items (Demonheart, Fate's Reward, Possessed Mace, Anglachel, Blooddrinker, Tear of the No-god, Soul Contract) now have a 1% chance to Hex their wielders when struck in melee. Also, the Shield of Many Fates has a small chance to Hex either the attacker or defender. Hexes are explained here: http://stormworld.wikidot.com/mechanics
- The following Reliquary items have bonuses against Hexed units: Bell of Atonement, Pipe of Banishment
- The Grail now allows players to lift a Hex when a champion with the item equipped levels up
- The Lucky Dice now requires level 6 to use, up from level 4.
- Shield of Bravery now gives +20 accuracy/spell mastery against higher level enemies, instead of +40% of its current value
- Dragon's Horror now makes user lose 3/4ths of Accuracy and Spell mastery against Dragons, instead of -70 flat.
- Immovable Artifact no longer counts as Magical
- Tear of the No-god now deals damage equal to Target's Magical Nature / 100, instead of 7 per Spellbook trait
- Skystrike spell can now appropriately be resisted
- Wooden Sword is now a one-off cast (per found sword) like Cornucopia, and costs no mana. This fixes an issue where the spell could be cast by the AI without finding the Sword first
- Added Reliquary Item #60 Soothsayer's Cards, #61 Simile Doll, #62 Throne of Bones, #63 Soul Contract, #64 Hourglass of Ages

Stormworld_Rivermod:
- Forged in Fire trait no longer gives 25% more cutting attack
- Witchmark trait no longer gives +10% Blunt defense
- Born in Blood no longer boosts strategic health regeneration
- Instant Evolution healing now scales with Lifeshards as well as Deathshards. In addition, there is no longer a chance for the unit to "instantly act", that bonus has been replaced by +3 Initiative for 2 turns. Also added hover-texts in battle for when these procs occur.

Stormworld_ExpandedFactions:
- Fixed Centaur positioning in the portrait in Unit Details
- Centaurs now come with hair
- Changed Centaur unit design trait Set Us Free to give +20 Accuracy instead of +50%
- Changed Living Stone unit design trait Halfbreed to -25% hitpoints instead of -35%
- The Golem unit design trait Magical Attraction changed to: "Gains +25 Accuracy against any target with at least 1 spellbook trait. Unit gains another +50 if the target is also Hexed, unless this unit is also Hexed. May not be selected at the same time as Sever Soul".
- The Golem unit design trait Sever Soul changed to: "Whenever this unit strikes an enemy target, there is a 50% chance that the target will have increased tactical mana cost for the duration of combat. The effect stacks with multiple strikes. The exact increase is equal to (Golem Troopcount * 4). This ability costs 2 mana per unit member. It may not be selected at the same time as Magical Attraction."
- All Death Legion corruption and bloodline (Eternal Change) randomized bonuses have been moved over to temporary traits, viewable in unit details during combat. Hidden bonuses made it very boring to play and play against.
- Fixed Death Legion unit design trait Corruption: Physical Fortitude to cost Crystals instead of non-existant resources
- Drota Kennels and Drota stables now produce 25 food instead of 50
- Added two new base variants to the centaurs with visual barding. They have no unique stats.

Drota reduced from 3 to 2 moves, from 50% poison resistance to 33%, from 15 extra carrying capacity to 10. Faction now moves without penalty in forests and hills.
Greenskin faction now moves without penalty in swamps.
Goblins reduced in size by 20%.
Centaurs had their bonus carrying capacity reduced to 20 from 30
Golems no longer regenerate at strategic level at half rate (AI couldn't handle it). Updated Lochean's (golem sov) traits to be more melee-oriented
Reduced Living Stone hitpoints bonus from 50% to 35%. Also removed Living Maze (non-functional improvement)
Reduced production costs of all faction traits to about half of previous cost (vanilla game did the same in 0.90)

Uploaded 0.6. It has the same 5 factions as before (Centaurs, Living Stone, Greenskin, Golems, Drota) and the Reliquary mod. New in this version is the Rivermod (magma, poison, blood, corrupted). Keep in mind the rivermod requires special installation, see the Wiki.

The rivermod is fairly limited at this point, but you should see rivers on tiny and small maps, sometimes on medium maps, and only rarely on large maps.

Also fixed bug where Drota would have 5 moves instead of the intended 3.
